One of our favorite chocolates is Ferrero Rocher, so when we were thinking of creating a hot chocolate recipe for the blog, we knew we had to try one that had Ferrero Rocher in it! And because it contains hazelnut, we thought Nutella would be the perfect compliment.
The recipe is quite rich and definitely heavier than your typical hot chocolate, but it is the holiday season so sit back and indulge in this delicious hot chocolate!
It’s a simple recipe that literally takes under 5 minutes to make, so I don’t need to write too much. Enjoy the photos and recipe will be at the end!
2 cups almond milk
1 tbsp Nutella
2 tbsp chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
Ferrero Rocher chocolate
Heat up chocolate chips, Nutella, and half a cup of milk in a pot on medium heat.
Whisk until chocolate is melted and everything is well combined.
Whisk in the rest of the milk and the vanilla extract.
To serve, brush the rim of a mug with butter and dip into crushed Ferrero Rocher chocolate. Pour the hot chocolate and top with whipped cream and another piece of Ferrero Rocher chocolate.
Indulge and enjoy!
