Fall is here but Toronto has been having some very unusual weather. I’m not complaining because I got the chance to go to Andrew’s Scenic Acres and take pictures with these beautiful flowers. I love nature, and I especially love flowers. So, when I found this amazing farm that let’s you walk in a field of flowers and pick any flower you like, I just had to visit. One would think there would’t be flowers in October, but…
There’s a field of them over at Halton Hills in Ontario!
Andrew’s Scenic Acres is this amazing farm and farm market that is surprisingly not as popular as some of the other farms out there. I’m not complaining because I spent a peaceful weekend at this farm, taking in the nature, the flowers, and the berries!
At Andrew’s Scenic Acres, you just pay a $5 entrance fee, and if you go on a weekday, it’s absolutely free. Once you enter, you will see this beautiful field of flowers, in which you can walk and take pictures AND pick some flowers just 80 cents a stem.
They also have blueberry and raspberry fields, and you can pick your own berries for $4.25 a pound! We picked raspberries and after working hard for a half hour, we didn’t even pick a pound! But these raspberries tasted so fresh and delicious!
If you’re looking for something unique and outdoors-y to do with your family this long weekend, check out Andrew’s Scenic Acres and you won’t be disappointed. They even have a market, so grab some fresh pie on your way out!
Oh, and since many of you always ask where I get my clothes from, I’ll start adding outfit sources to my blogposts. That’s if I can find the exact link, since many of my clothes I’ve had fro several years!
